“Music in Hospitals is a charity which was established in 1948. Its mission is to improve the quality of life of adults and children with all kinds of illness and disability, through the joy and therapeutic benefits of professionally performed live music. Each year Music in Hospitals organises some 5,000 live concerts across the UK in hospitals, hospices, care homes, day care centres and special needs schools.
