Angela Tursi is a pianist and a singer . In 2015 she took her Master in piano classical music from N.Piccinni Conservatory of Bari and in 2018 she took another Master in “Jazz Music” from Nino Rota Conservatory of Monopoli. After her Master she moved in London thanks to a scholarship to sing and work with “London International Gospel Choir”.Now she is working with Esmeralda Conde Ruiz.
In May 2018 Angela published her first album “Bue Paintings” inspired by the connection between color and Music. Angela performs in a variety of productions as a soloist or with choirs.
Where did you study music? I studied piano and had private singing lessons in Italy than I took my Masters and I moved to London thanks to a traineeship programme with Naveen Arles and London International Gospel Choir. Now I’m doing another music traineeship with Esmeralda Conde Ruiz.
What is your favourite piece of music? I love different kinds of music. I studied both classical and jazz Music so is hard to say. I love composers like Debussy, Chopin, but at the same time Duke Ellington, Nina Simone. Maybe I could say my favourite piece of music is “Azure” By Duke Ellington.
What single thing you could not live without? Music, of course and…. Chocolate!!
