A composer, educator and animatuer, Kemal Yusuf has held positions as Artistic Director of the London Graduate Orchestra, Music Director of the East West Gala Chorus and has been involved in many outreach and education projects over the years including with Sistema Norwich.
An inspiring and dynamic music teacher with 10 years teaching experience. Kemal has a strong awareness of learning and development and enjoys encouraging positive learning techniques, both in the classroom and in 1:1 tuition.
As a peripatetic teacher he has worked for Sistema UK, the Norfolk and Norwich Festival and the East West Gala Chorus.
As a composer, he has been commissioned by some of the country’s top ensembles and organisations such as the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Singers, The Cheltenham International Music Festival, the Carducci Quartet, the Norfolk and Norwich Festival and Oxfam International.

In 2013 he cofounded the London Graduate Orchestra, which is a training orchestra aimed at preparing talented musicians for entry into the professional field. They continue to curate an exciting programme in a variety of high profile venues.
Kemal was educated at the University of Bristol and the Royal Academy of Music.
