Where did you study music? I started studying privately at the age of ten, before starting a bachelor’s degree at Unesp in São Paulo in 2007. In 2011 I did my master’s degree in piano performance at the University of Évora – Portugal.
What is your favourite piece of music? I have some songs that I keep with me through life, for example the second concerto for piano orchestra of Rachmaninoff! The Sonata n° 3 in B flat minor of Chopin, some works of Debussy and more! In the end we get to know the musical signatures of these composers and connect to their works! What single thing you could not live without? Probably my long hours of studying the piano, and a bit of jazz and white wine to relax at night. Who has inspired you the most?  Probably the performances of Nelson Freire, Sérgio Tiempo and Martha Argerich, but I really like the sound of Maurizio Pollini. I’m also passionate about orchestral music like Tchaikovsky’s symphonic and chamber music. Where did you grow up? I was born in Brazil in a city very close to the great São Paulo called Bragança Paulista. In 2011, I moved to Europe where for seven years I lived in many cities and many countries.
