Eklectric Duo: Electric Paganini

Eklectric Duo is the synergy of two great personalities from the classical music world in an electric key that fits where the dividing walls of music genres collapse. A formidable mix of fascinating sounds with a wild rhythm the Eklectric Duo perform a repertoire from the Baroque to the present day, with arrangements written by Alberto Casadei for Electric Cello with Pedalboard multi-effect, Piano and Electronics, passing through film music, tango and pop.The Eklectric Duo is regularly invited to prestigious concert seasons and in 2022 represented Italy on the occasion of the Italian Republic Day in Miami - USA.

Elisa Tomellini is the only woman in the world to have recorded for Dynamic at the RSI in Lugano the etudes of List by Paganini in the first unperformable 1838 version, obtaining double 5 stars  on BBC magazine. She is the Ambassador of Genoa for the culture in the world and in 2017 she performed the highest concert in the world at 4,460 m, combining her two great passions, Music and Mountaineering.

Alberto Casadei graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London, he won numerous international competitions including the Antonio Janigro Cello Competition, London Making Music Award for Young Concert Artists, Gaetano Zinetti Chamber Music Competition and the Astor Piazzolla “Libertango” Competition. He performed in various great halls including the Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, Cortot Hall in Paris, Royal Albert Hall in London, Tivoli Vredenburg in Utrecht and Teatro Comunale of Bologna. He also held the positions of Principal Cello for the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, for the Arena di Verona Orchestra and the Orchestra Mozart. He is cello professor at the Music Conservatory “G.Braga” in Teramo, Italy.
