Eleanor Fox joined Music in Offices as a conductor in 2021. She studied music at King’s College London, where she held the Associateship of the college and received the Malcolm Arnold Prize, before receiving a distinction in her masters from Cambridge, where she was the first woman to conduct evensong in Emmanuel College Chapel. She was awarded the Sorrell Conducting Fellowship from the Royal Academy of Music and studies with Sian Edwards, Alice Farnham, and professor emeritus Colin Metters.  

Eleanor is a passionate believer in music’s capacity for community building and inspiring positive social change. She will actively work to ensure a safe, accessible and inclusive environment for all musicians.  

Eleanor retains a keen interest in choral singing and currently studies with Berty Rice. She can be heard as a soprano in churches across London.
