Mezzo soprano Eleanor O’Driscoll is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under the tutelage of Susan Waters. Her studies are generously supported by a Guildhall School of Music and Drama scholarship.

Previously, she trained at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with Louise Crane, where she performed the roles of Ghost Child 1 in Turnage’s Coraline, Charlotte Badger in McNeff’s Banished, Lapák the Dog in Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen, and Flora in Dove’s The Enchanted Pig.

During the 2022/23 season, Eleanor performed the role of Siebel in Gounod’s Faust with Arcadian Opera Company and was a member of the National Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company’s chorus. Most recently, she made her role debuts at West Green House Opera as La Suora Infermiera in Suor Angelica and as Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro for Hewlett Opera. She also performed as a soloist for London Fashion Week in the Patrick McDowell x Guildhall AW24 show.

As an oratorio soloist, Eleanor has performed with several choral societies, including London Lawyers Music, Redditch Choral Society, and Malvern Festival Chorus. A keen recitalist, she has appeared at a variety of distinguished venues, including Milton Court Concert Hall, Sudeley Castle, and the Pittville Pump Room. Eleanor is delighted to be a Leeds Lieder Young Artist 2025.

Eleanor is a passionate teacher, she has been teaching privately for over 4 years, and in addition to this, is now also a conductor of children's choirs in London. She is enthusiastic about instilling a love for music in all her students, and enjoys working with singers of all abilities.
