Petra completed her studies at Trinity College of Music in London and was awarded a TCM Scholarship and the Raymond Russel Prize. Since then she has pursued a busy and varied career and has recently accepted a scholarship from Canterbury Christ Church University to do a PhD on Bohemian cantors of Baroque period.

She is known for her radio and television work, including a live broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and has recorded with The Harmonious society of Tickle-Fiddle Gentlemen.

Petra has been in high demand as a soloist, accompanist, orchestral and chamber musician and regularly performs at venues such as Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, St Martin in the Fields, St James Piccadilly and St John’s Smith Square
